bought wii your shape and it wants to do a system update help

right my wii is on v4.1e
it has been done with the bannerbomb
prob i got is i bought the mrs the new your shape game the one with the camera now when i try to play the disc it say that it needs to do a system update is it safe to let it do one or is it going to delete the homebrew channel and my usb loaders if so what can i do to get over this

please help getting grief now of the mrs cause she cant use her xmas pressie

Yes if you update using that disc your softmod will be gone, you will have to redo it on 4.2E m8.
Only other option is try loading the game via the loader and not the wii channel,might work might not.
Failing that, download the game from the net and it will probably have the update taken out.

I have wii system menu 4.2e, the homebrew channel and usb loader gx with their channel fowarder installed with cIOS 38r16. recently I purchased Your Shape (Pal) for the wii and risked the update. Just thought I would let you know that it didn't effect any of my softmods.

try installing this Digital Kaos - Downloads - ios58-64v5918.wad its the camera driver the game is trying to install

I can confirm that original Your Shape Disc did not affect any softmods, or WiiKey 2 - just installed camera driver. USB loader GX does not work with the camera plugged in though. I'll try the USB hub trick later, but it's probably the power to the drive and the camera that's not enough (or the IOS)...

reading around it does seem to be the power that is the problem ,hope the usb hub works for you.

Thank you. I had problems with Your shape. First, my wii totaly freezes, when tried to run game from original DVD (I had version 3.2). When I tried to run it in Gama, there was error #002. So I tried to run it in backup launcher with fix 002, but there was error with camera. IOS58 does not help. So I have updated WII to version 4.2 (with bannerbomb) and then updated WII from Your Shape DVD. Original game is working now and also Homebrew and other applications. Thanks
