Nokia Dbox.

Hi all.

I got my Dbox a week ago, it worked ok for a few days and now it keep Freezing.
Each time it freezes I 've to reset to box to view a program.

The box is running "Commando 11".

Any input welcome.

try different softcams and emu's. Also check your input cable makes a good connection. Also try later images.

Hi m8,

Try different ucode/cam combinations, blue button on remote press dbox for extra's menu and you will see the softcam and ucode menu's 001a is normally the most stable ucode so try this with different softcams.
Worth checking you have the latest image as this is 11.3.11 check this thread: http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...upgrade-65099/
Also what epg setting are you running and how long before the box freezes?

I have dbox,but i dont know how to flash the new firmware dvb2000.Now in dbox is some german version od firmware,and all i cant do its to watch some channels,i cant go to main menu,i dont know how.I tried flashing with null modem RS232 cable,but nothing i cant connect dbox to pc.Any help?

Hi Guys,

I have just pulled out my Nokia dbox2 from cupboard, give it a dusting and powered up, flashed Commando 12 to it. It provided a great service to me until VM changed to N3 encryption, and i had gotten very attached to it and would love to get it working once again.

After many hours reading through DK forums and trying loads of differing setups, all I get is a few FTA channels. Yep!! I know I was told.

However!!!

I'm sure most of you will think this is a very stupid question, will give some of you a good laugh. Please dont ROFL. What have I go to lose?

Has anyone tried flashing a dbox2 with a dreambox image??
Similar operating system, similar hardware, worth a try. Of course I will back up first. What do you think? Will it kill my dbox forever.
