My sat motor was working fine, but now my motor has stopped moving, it was snowing last night and is still realy cold but theres no snow on it. could the cold effect it?, worked for a little while today now its stuck in 1 position?? its only been up 2 weeks so im not sure if the cold weather affects it or not.

Should be a reset button somewhere mate on motor. Also check the connection to motor is in correct. If cable is stretched a bit it can pull connection loose.

I had this problem last week it was just a loose cable in the back of the box, stripped the coax then it was fine

there is usually a small hole on the motor which needs a thin rod pushing into it to reset.also an indicator light should be on its only an led so not bright.the cold should not affect it under normal conditions

iv been out again, pressed the manual buttons to move it and its not working, just get a click once when i press the button like a relay click. are the power leds supposed to flash all the time, even when the motor isnt trying to turn?, im wondering if it could be the reciever. iv got a multimeter, does anyone know the type of voltage i should have at the motor?

                    13Volt for V polarity 18Volt for horizontal.

there will be power of some sort to light the led and power the lnb .but unsure of the voltage others may know.

does anyone know if there should be power at the motor all the time (2 leds flashing) or just when the motor is on the move? as mine is only getting power when i tell it to move by switching channel, they then start flashing but it still doesent move, even when i press the manual east west buttons.

on the technomate motors you have a steady green light on when the dish is stationary and a blinking orange light when moving.

thanks again Dick b. After i switch the box on theres no voltage and no lights at the motor. the voltage 18v or 13v and the lights on mine only come on my dark motor when i send it to a sat, but are staying (flashing) on as its not moving (the reciever says motor moving to 1w etc and stays there on the screen). im going to try another reciever before i take the motor down just incase. realy dont want to though.
