DS lite firmware

All any help with this would be much appreciated,

I bought an R4 Revoloution for ds (ndsl/nds), and a 2 gig memory card Kingston sdc/2gbsp, i have tried all the firmwares and the only thing i get is loading on the screen it just hangs,

any ides ??

Place the Firmware 1.23 and 1.09b together on card.

tried both on the sd card but still hangs on loading...

All ds/dsi firmware to be found here http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/
Make sure your card is formatted before loading anything onto it...even if its a brand new sd card.
