Replaced Liteon fussy about media

Hi bit of advice realy.

My old liteon died failed reading disks, so I got a direct replacement flashed it with LT, but its very fussy over the disks. Im using verbatim disk as well!

DO you tink that swapping the laser from the new drive to the old one might improve things?

Probably not. I have just updated a box to LT. It is fussy now about games. My old Rips dont play but the new 1s i just tried (Army Of 2 + Tekken 6) worked fine.
The reason this box was brought to me was because it wont play wave 4+. Cod 6 Would not boot at all even with o1 shot.
I checked this disc thro ABGX and everything match, Inc SSv2.
The game now plays. I strongly recomend that you check all games are ran thro ABGX and Fully PASS

Just burnt army of darkness 1st on Verb Media. Worked fine. THen on cheap media, again worked fine, same media as the 1s that dont work.
Only differance that i can see in ABGX is that the 1s that dont work have SSv1, 1s that work have SSv2.

Gonna go try some more and will post what i find. Is anyone else having troubles with media?

ive been checking mine through abgx and making sure its ssv2 since DEC mainly as i dont wanna go back burning old games again

only old game ive got that isnt is fight night and i get open tray message yet to put it through abgx (i'll do that 2morro)

main thing is the games work when abgx gives the all clear

Think the liteon drive is on the way out, flashed to all ixtreme versions and will only load verb media. Do laser on its way out on this 1

Was the drive i was flashing and thought the firmware was being fussy about media
