Couple of quick questions

Hi folks,

Great forum and been a great help. Couple of quick questions:

1) Ive got FTA working, but its not in widescreen (16:9) and so seems really elongated - is there anyway to fix this?

2) I'm in the process of FTPing the magic files across and I've put the keys and emu in the required folder. Theres also another file called 'libcrypto' which needs to me chmod-ed - but where do I transfer this file to?

OK - regarding the file I've learnt that I dont have to fta it as its already there - but I cant find on the dbox and it still needs to be chmod-ed. Does anyone know where this file exists?

to change screen settings

file to be chmod-ed.
found in lib folder on dbox (if not transfer it and then chmod)

Cheers mate - did that and works very well. One other thing tho - I know these boxes do not talkbalk, but is not talkback just as bad? ie Wont Vermin realise they are not getting any talkback from my box and think something is up??

Not really. Are you still running your normal box?

I have mine set up on a split cable with the V+ running. Before that though, just had the dbox running on it's own for months..

No - not running my normal box atm. I've got he splitter and will be eventually so that I can watch Iplayer and the like. But maybe just being a little paranoid!
