no picture on ps3

hi mates ps3 has a green light but but nothing shows on screen any one had the same problem.

hold power button for 5 sec till it beebs that resets the screen resoultion try that

have you recently changed it from hdmi to av on your tv?? or anything else happened before it went blank?

Try what MxWill said or if no joy hold power + eject until theres 2 beeps which brings you to a menu to reset/reinstall the os.
