    DM800 - No HDMI output?

Just setting up a new DM800 clone which to start with I connected via scart which as all gone fine. Put a hard disk in, did a factory reset and initialised that ok. FTPd the cccam c:lines over, did a scan and brought in the channels and everything looks great.
Conected the DVI to HDMI cable in and pluged it into the HDMI 1 on my LG LH3000 but the tv fails to see any input from the DM800s.
Cant see any settings in either the boxs or tv menus to turn on/off the input/output. Tried removing the scart but nothing on HDMI.
The Dreambox does not seem to be reporting any issues.
    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks

Just regained control and checked that option and it is already set to DVI but still nothing out of the HDMI or nothing into the TV. The tv knows through voltage detection if there is any input and it does not seem to be detecting any.

Says this in the tv manual

Check that your HDMI cable is version 1.3 or higher.
If the HDMI cables don?t support HDMI version 1.3, flickering or no screen display
can result. Please use the latest cables that support at least HDMI version 1.3.

Anyone else using the LG LH series tvs with Dreambox 800s?

Thanks, using the supplied cable and the tv does not auto detect the HDMI input and no, if you switch to that input manually you still get nothing.
Hopefully it will be a faulty cable. Going to try the dreambox on another TV.
Is it normal for the Scart output to stay live when DVI is selected, I amsume it is for external recording.

have you tried another hdmi socket on your tv and manualy switch the tv to it
switch to it manually when you try it on another tv aswell

Tried all sockets on LG, switched to them all maually and nothing. Dont think it allows manual section if it not happy with the input.
                      Will try another TV

Changed to another tv and switched to HDMI manually and nothing so its not the TV which would have been a result as its under warranty. Looks like ill have to buy another cable to prove its not that and then begin a saga of sending it back to Hong Kong.

getting confused a bit as to what cable and connector as a dvi connector will go into a pc monitor which allows the hdmi cable to be plugged into it,where is the dvi connector used as it cant be plugged into hdmi.

The DM800 has 2 outputs, scart and DVI. The DVI also carries audio and a supplied DVI to HDMI cable to the HDMI input on a tv.
