Softmoded Wii upgrade

    Softmoded Wii upgrade

    Could anyone please give me advice i have a softmoded wii on ver 3.1e i play all my games of a usb external hard drive i have now only just connected it to wifi but when i go onto the wii shop chanel it tells me to go and upgrade if i do will i lose all my softmodes on my wiii and mess everything up cheers for any info

      dont let it update it will disable your mod..i did this recently and my homebrew channel and uloader failed to work anymore.I was running 4.2e when my son accidently updated the shop channel..all i did to recover it was run my nand back from a previous state.

        i think you will find this is a safe updater,and does not screw your mod up like nintendos shop update,ive had 16 people install this and no one as come back to me with a complaint.

          since i softmodded my wii i had not run the internet channel and when my son loaded it said it needed to be updated,and whoosh before i could do anything he pressed ok to update.When i came to use uloader or homebrew they would not load.
          Having bootmii loaded to boot2 it was easy enough to just run my back up to a previous state.

            thats because you did a nintendo update read this Wii Shop and IOS61 Installer
