New Image required, Help with Service, Channels and Bouquets!

    Hi all,

I have two main issues, besides being a beginner in Digital Media and only having bought my Dreambox a week ago, it appears to have lost it's image and any configuration that was on the unit!

I have sucessfuly downloaded various images for my DM500-c (DM500plus) and installed them on my Dreambox DM500-c, but with activation each image tried, each seems to have some degree of success, but none with the same deree of success as the original image that was on the box when bought!

The image I am looking for, is the one with a Dragon on the splash startup screen, along with the letters V2.0 in the centre at the bottom of the screen?

So does anyone know what this image is, also where do I get it from and do I need any special login etc.?

The second is the ability to learn my cable provider, any subsequent channels and Bouquets, my current provider is Telewest (Now Virgin) in North Birmingham (Walsall, U.K.).

So if I can get the image I would like, does it come with any predefined Bouquets or will I have to manually load them via the file system?

Your help is much appreciated as my partner and the kids are driving me crazy as the Dbox is out of action at the moment!

    Thnx

a DM500 is a Dreambox and Dbox is a different type of receiver by a different company... (therefore not the same thing)

If i was you i would send it back for a refund as the uk cable scene is coming to an end.. vm are changing their encryption in stages across the country.. one area after another is swithing over... your box will be useless with the new encryption..
