After a load of grief with a clone DM600, I have now sent it back and purchased a replacement, original Dreambox DM600 
So far, I've downloaded and flashed the Digital Kaos image to the box, FTP'd across the contents of the magic file to var/scce and var/keys, CHMOD camd_cfg in /var/keys to 755, and then performed a brute force automatic transponder scan. Running evocamd 2.17b as included with the image.
The scan manages to see plenty of transponders, but only adds 25 or so TV services. The bouquets are already set up, but I have only managed to find a handful of working channels - Five, BBC3 and 4, and BBC2. I've also tried switching to the 'last scanned' bouquet, but no joy there either.
EDIT: Should add, we are not Nagra3 here yet as far as I'm aware, so should be able to rule that out.
