Flashing screen..?

On my scart connection from sky+ box, the picture keeps flashing brighter and then dimmer. Tried resetting the box and changed the scart lead twice, no joy. The picture is fine if I'm using the DVD player (HDMI lead) So its unlikely its the TV itself. Anyone any thoughts..?

each source signal have separate settings .
check on your tv if for scart source dynamic contrast is off
