does anyone know where i can sell a banned xbox 360 without the ad getting pulled?

Try gumtree. Your local ads or in your paper.

Clever wording needs to be used.

If advertising do not say it has been banned just say unfortunately this cannot be used on Xbox Live.

That way people can ask you questions then you can explain via PM's or emails.

Gumtree will take it but last time I put something on there the only responses I got where scammers or wastes of time. Am I seriously going to post anything to the ministers son doing missionary work in Nigeria?

I sold 1 on ebay when ban wave hit ?50, guy lived not to far so dropped it off also.

I sold a Banned 360 with all wires/adaptors/mic/20GB HDD on eBay for 94 delivered so maybe you might want to put it on eBay.....

Gumtree can be Ok to buy & sell (Leicester)
I use it quite a bit
Be carefull though If you get an ad removed they will flag your Email Adress & phone number and Ban you from posting or even replying to other peoples adds.
I am now on my 4th Email adress because people can report adds they think are illegal or scams.
If you are selling a 360 dont advertise it with any "Back up" games or say flashed (Some of them get through without being reported) just say has been opened.
Only sell Cable/Sat boxes as FTA Recievers dont say can receive all channels (Be quick with that one though)

Most people know what they mean anyway

Use an Email address that you dont mind loosing in a few months or so as your spam box will get full


A way to avoid the scam buyers is to put a note at the bottom of your add saying

I will only reply to emails that contain a UK contact number
Any replies that dont include a UK contact number will be ignored and reported as spam


Gumtree can be a good way to make money buying and selling but you do have to be aware of other people using it.

I prefer to deliver if i can (to keep my address safe) but never go alone especially with an expensive item.
