i'm not too sure on what you want. Why not use Excel and in cell A1 enter 9th March 2010 , and then in cell A2 enter 2nd March 2010. Then if you highlight those cells and then drag the bottom right hand corner of the selected cells down about 350 cells to end up at around cell A352. Now you have all the Tuesdays starting from today (09.03.10).

Now do the same starting in cell B1 but starting point is last friday (5th Mar 2010).

Now you should have 2 colomns 352 cells long. Cut one column and paste info below the other. Then sort by date. You will have what you want if my thinking is as you require.

      A Big thank you Lyradd,
This is exactly what I want, basically my wife delivers post every tuesday and friday and we need to claim back the milage to reimburse the fuel costs and I wanted the dates without filling all in manually,
unfortunately I tried your suggestion but does not work for me but I think there is some information missing, when I select cells A1 + A2 then highlight until cell A352 for example do I need to right click and select an option as for example fill down? as when doing just threw selection only cells remain blank....

Thank you for any help you can give me as this option has many uses. also if I reverse the dates would this plan dates forward I expect so.

      Regards Japn

      any help appreciated from anyone......
