    Default how to open boot battery dead. volvo S60

    Please can anyone help, My son's Volvo S60 has a flat battery 1st time to drive it, does anyone know how to open the boot to get to battery it's fob only so no key. Thanks.

    Usually when the battery is in the boot you still have a pos & neg connector under the bonnet for jump starting, have a look they may be there, then you can power from under the bonnet from another car/battery, then the boot should be able to be unlocked from the fob while you have the other power connected.

    yes he has and will try to jump start in the morning as he had to leave the car at work.Thanks.

    battery saver/trickle charger into the cigarette lighter socket will sometimes do the trick (10A max)

    You can open boot with the key,
    if you look by the number plate lights plastic cover with key picture on it, take this off and you will see the key hole.
