I think 950Eur is really cheap for tool what make what have in description. Alone not working Visteon is by Smelecom 500USD... You can only wait for miracle, good tool always have price. When You wait You dont earn cash and You lose customers too. I am real happy with my XCAN. Much better with A3 as Abritus, Visteon dashes Abritus cant make. You can read SecBlock in plain text, with Abritus not possible.
PS
I buy new devices oft. Till now really much scams: Carprog and VAG dashes(I dont know how is now, but on begin was only Unkown Version), Vagprog (Really nice seller, till first dash answer always in 5h, after error by first dash 1 week no answer, on 4 Versions Visteon make only one Version, tool not work like in descritpion), AVDI(really great, PassThru option work like will, they make really oft fake descritions too(Simos PPD immo off from version 9.0 till Version 13.0 still is no available, description on site is all time that it is possible, MM G6 dashes on 4 only 1 supported)).

Does someone try Smoke Programmer BSI in PSA group , I am interested in baying these tool . I am interested does everything work as it is described on site . Thanks in advance
I have AVDI and I am thinking to bay update for AVDI license or SMOK BSI group .
Now I have original Magic Dash Can.
I can connect to EDC15 and also read the Immo status and the mileage. When I press on "Read EE" MDC answers with "Reading successfull" but where is the read eeprom? How can I edit the eeprom when it is not saved anywhere?
Does anyone who also have original MDC (maybe Lupu) can answer my question?
Hi Lupu,
thanks for your reply.
Yes, I have Win7. Why?
Then put in options win XP application or something similar. Should work. Win7 is not best choice for automotive software...
Alright. I'll try it.
Thanks
Oh yeah. Lupu and autofan you are the best.
Windows XP mode is the solution
So, for the others:
If you run MDC on Win7, just set the Windows Compatibility Settings to Windows XP Service Pack 2 or 3.
But now I have another question:
I found my immo id in the eeprom. Is it possible to edit this id by hand and write it back to the ecu or will there be a problem with the checksum?

Is MDC calculating the correct checksum while writing back the eeprom?
I think no. You can just try to write file back and see what happends. When You have internal errors with VCDS then is checksumm protected.
