    Default MK3 BMW navigation dump.

    Hi,

Does anybody have dump files for BMW mk3 navigation?

Actually it seems it's made by Philips/VDO and the part number is 22sy591/23e. It's also used in some Rovers and maybe other cars. The drive is prone to have software problem (corrupted flash) . There are 2 flash chips inside the drive, mbm29lv651 64Mb (4Mbx16).
I already have 2 dead drives. Anyone able to shed some light in this?

    Thanks

I don't have flashing software for in circuit programming, for that you should get hand on vdo programming tools from their factory

The other alternative is manual flashing: desolder, program with programmer, solder back in place. Please tell me what kind of flash IC does your unit have. There are different hardware revisions on MK3 and I only have dumps for one using fujistsu/amd flash chip 29lv651.
