Yes, it's the same adapter, but you only need it if processor is secured

    Cool, you got the info.

THIS IS A GENUINE JOB - NO ODOMETERS WILL BE INCORRECTED, need to swap out a faulty speedo head.

Does anybody know if plugging in a used speedo will wack out the milage in BCM?

    THANKS

Right, so your saying remove the MCU stick into upa adaptor - (china clone) no idea what they were off hand.

It's a fuel gauge fault - ign on, spins around like a roulette wheel.

Not confident it's more than just the motor, but looks like it a pig of a job to swap over.

    Thanks.

I make 3 x freelander belong 2 week time. I tray Xprog, UPA and R270. Every time after correction dash go dead, I don't know why but xprog and R270 made by china do errors by writing(verification ok) but dash don't wake up, or problem on fuel gauge. I make backup read flash and eprom, after few attempts dash back to live, but make my mad.
    I looking for freelander solution

I have only done one of these, used a R260 clone (red 9s12) work first time with no errors or removing MCU, Just connected Via BDM Port.

Got mine from banny @ revtronic
