    Default Freelander 2004 mileage correction with upa

    I want to work on this dash ,the dash has inside MC912,i understand that it can be read/write with upa by solder the 4 points behind the dash,can anyone post a picture to see where is the connection and what pins on Upa must be connected?

    this MCU on freelander always secured,must be desoldered to etl,or UPA hc912 adapter,or in circuit with rosfar!

    I have same problem and UPA USB not working with this dash, but year is 2001, it is locked too?

    Yes, I don't think you can do this car with UPA you need to program on a certain frequency, Rosfar R260 is the only way.

    also tried with desoldering MCU and read it with UPA hc912 adapter and ETL work fine,but need desoldering..

    yep,desolder,but the real problem is the needles,when you mess with them you will have hard times trying to put them bach in place...

    Correct me if I'm wrong mate ....2004 in the picture above ...MCU is on the back no need to remove needles ....

    Is it possiblle to read this mcu with X-prog m because in the software is not this mask included only under Hc912D60A 112 pins secured?Regards

    But what adapter to use? In clone box is not bdm adapter which has coaxial cable inside or can use normal cable with same pinout?
