    Cool 2.0 RHY EDC15C

    Hey guys,
    I got a 306 HDI lately.
In addition to having an ECU which is half dead (Keep Alive Memory failed self test), I think my ECU + eeprom have been off for many sensors.
Like if I unplug the Crankshaft position sensor, no change, the engine is fine...
At that point my ECU isn't much useful. No idea of the status of the map. The car still works.

Anyway, I'll need to get a new ECU and clone what's left in the old one, since I'd like to get back at least 1 or 2 features of the original ECU...
First question, is there any difference if I take a 0281010162, 0281010362 or 0281010249, knowing the 3 have been used for 2.0 hdi 90cv (all 3 are 1 plugs).
Second question, where could I find my pin code in my eeprom 95p08? is it in offset/line 140? (I specify that from what I know the immo is only in eeprom on these hardwares)
I tried to read on a few ori sample files, but couldn't find. like on this file attached.
I've read some guys asked their CS in addition to the pin. Is it for key programming? Is it needed on old cars like a 306 hdi?
    That's all for now.

PS: Thanks and reputation, I got that... On the other hand, not sure I'm in the right forum.

because the immo was removed in the eeprom, the pin was removed
Share the flash reading here, then I will try to give the original flash reading

    Thanks @kiszka,
Actually, my question was more general. The eeprom file above is not mine, just took an equivalent.
My question was more to find the pin inside it, this file is not supposed to be immo off.
I thought the pin was not in the flash.
Do you think you can find the pin in the flash file?
Thanks in advance for your reply

pin can only be found in eeprom but if no one did immo off or damaged the eeprom
this eeprom 1000% immo off done but incorrectly and there is no pin

Oh, I see, got it. Thanks.
But then, I would be grateful just to know the address where we're supposed to find it.
In a pm if this is a secret.
Hope I'm not breaking any rules asking this.
    Thanks in advance

offset 200 - 216 - 22A but it is encrypted so you need a program

Oh, it can't be read just from hexadecimal, there's a key in each file to interprete the sensitive data like the pin, is it correct?
Is it also the case in the flash for sensitive data?
    Damned

Oh and also, I saw those adresses were cleared for immo off (set to 00) in most off files.
But I thought immo was a function that could be set on or off (different from the pin), but here you say these adresses are for the pin itself, correct?
It would mean that setting the pin zone to "00" is enough to immo off, but it would also mean that it is not possible to just turn off the immo without losing the pin.
    Have I well understood?

One question from me too. Is the PIN located in the same places (addresses) in the same ECU and engine, but on a Suzuki Vitara?

And what is the program you use, by the way, @kiszka?
    Or any program suggestion?

    Hey @rudoni,
From what I could see from Vitara eeprom dumps available on DK, the overall structure is very similar to all EDC15C2 eeprom dumps I was able to check.
Now on Vitara, the classical hardware (0281010559) is probably running a different software than mine on a 0281010162 hardware, and this is what matters in terms of where the pin code is and how it is coded/encrypted.
    Can't tell more, I'm still a newbie.
    Good luck in your research.
