    Default Mondeo 2010

    Hi all
I programmed a Mondeo 2010 today with dp3 and accidentally pressed change units 'from miles to km'. the dash then read in km.
Tried to change back but with no success. Took bat off then tried again once reconnected but still no joy.
    Anyone had similar problem?
    Cheers

I'm thinking it must be a byte that's changed so I intend to take out the next one I get read and save data with programmer direct. Then change units but not mileage with dp3. Then re read with programmer direct and see what's changed.
Does that make sense or can someone with knowledge tell me I'm a ****!
    Regards

Disconnect the battery for 20 mins.
Connect your D3 cable and do it again this time selecting the change option "1" again to change back to miles.
    Pager.

Yes I was doing it diag and now when I try to change units back to miles it says it's done it but Kms still show and when I go into settings on car it will not change.
Does the reading of one direct make sense?

I have had this same thing.
You must change the settings on the dp3
then do it again, try a few times

I have tried many times but will have another go Monday. If all fails I'll have a go reading one direct then change units with dp3 diag then read again and see where it's changed.
    Cheers

Think you missed the point go into your dp3 menu and change units from km to miles then do job again should work other than that nothing will help you

i dont understand, now its 5 day ago and still trying to fix it.
if you send the dump to elprosys they know exacly what byte the machine change so they can change it back manually for you. maybe problem was solved in 1 or 2 days.
but hats mine way of thinking.
