Default How to add mileage in Skoda Octavia NEW 2009

    Hello!
I need to add mileage in Skoda Octavia New 2009 (NEC + 24C32 in dashboard).
Is it possible to do by correcting only 24С32 dump, without touching the NEC ?
Somebody tell me that it is necessary to correct 24C32 dump in two places - is it true?
    Thanks for any help!

You must read the 24c32 program it so you can enter the service mode, then program new mileage by OBD2, see other posts Golf6 PassatCC etc....

I have found a post about it! Your soft is very useful!
    But a few questions else:
1 Can I use tacho Universal + CAN dongle or VAG K+CAN commander to change mileage after entering service mode?
2 Can I simultaneously change dump for entering s.m. and change mileage manually ?
    Thanks!

    It`s sad!
But what device I need to do the second part of this job through OBD-II ?
And is it possible to do this job manually.....may be so:
1 Use 24C32 in DIP8..... conect it through panel or clip to board.
2 Put NEC in s. m.,connecting the dashboard to 12V on a table.
3 Take 24C32 out ...... change mileage, put it back (Power is on)
    4 Reset dashboard.

You can try to change the 24C32 to go into service mode and read whole dump with vag+k commander, and then adjust mileage and write all back. Don't know if it works but you can try. If you post 24C32 dump here I will change the dump for you. I use VAG DASH PROG for this. You don't have to remove 24c32 just solder 4 wires on back of board, see forum passat 2008, golf 6, PassatCC for pictures.

I upload pictures, let somebody show you connections.
I prefer to desolder the chip.
And if somebody has last updated Elsa... please upload connector pinouts for this dash (32 pins)!

remove cluster, find 93c66, remove 93c66, read eprom, check data (show press B), save data, show, edit lines 01A0 till 01BF (16 instances)

    Example calculation:

    km > HEX XOR FF 100000km > hex 0186A0 XOR FE795F
    100000km = 186AE795
