    Question Skoda Octavia II 1.9 TDI BXE 2009 - General Checksum Failure

    Hello,

    I need help to finish to swap instrument cluster to my skoda. I already solved some problems, bu the last one with airbag, I'm cannot solve, even reading many pages on internet.

    My dashboard is VDO (1z0920843d) with eprom 24c32.

    I copied eprom contents from original to new cluster, configure some modules, correct KM to disappear message ERROR in bottom left, the two keys are working with immo on. Airbag light on with errors.

    In instrument module I got one error :

    1. Send eeprom data from both clusters

    ABS

    Did you have these errors on the old cluster?
    1. ABS control module is not communicating with the ECU, check wiring, check coding.
    2. Your driver side airbag igniter has a short circuit - check wiring, resistance from live data will also help you.... etc
    3. Module is not coded, no basic setting, has not be adapted.

    The error on ABS module is on AIRBAG module....

    2. Everything is working before change instrument cluster. So I think is fake errors...
    3. Correct, I have the code from a dump of vcds from 2016 where I got the code of AIRBAG, but I cannot program through VCDS or Abrites.

    Now I can upload the actual rom.
