Default Iveco Daily 2017 0281032557 help!

    Hi all,

Recently, our Iveco stopped running. At first, it felt like a fuel cut and would run for 5 minutes and then shut off, it would not restart due to the battery being low. We changed the battery for a new one and it started up straight away. Ran for about 5 minutes, again felt like a fuel cut and then died.

Now my OBD diagnostic tool does not see the ECU. I believe something has happened to the ECU but am not sure what. When I try to start the engine, I get a few error codes flashing up, these are as follows: -

Excessive Radiator Fluid Temperature - Stop and Turn off engine
    Check Glow plugs
    Immobilizer failure
    ASR unavailable see handbook
    ESP unavailable see handbook
    Hill holder unavailable see handbook

The temperature light is flashing and so is the glowplug light.

The engine turns over but will not start up.

    Thanks!

Have checked fuse and relay box and rotated as suggested, but nothing seemed obviously broken upon visual inspection. Also checked ECU loom at right hand side of engine bay and it was very wet but again, nothing obviously broken.

After removing the ECU and inspecting the case, it was severely oxidised. So much so that the casing had a crack in it - water had actually been getting inside the ECU. I now need to source another ECU. Does anyone know which chips contain the immobiliser information and the maps? I will try resolder them onto a donor ECU.

What is the full name of the program and how do I perform a ‘read’ from the existing ECU?
