Default Audi TT Dash Dump Help

Can anyone have a look at this dump. Dash shows 999999 after being modified by some type of clone lead. Guy also tried to progamme keys. Car runs ok but fuel gauge incorrect. Mileage can be edited and shows correct in Arbritus72 programmer and another tool (both genuine) but when dash is put back back mileage still 999999 and guages wrong. Car runs ok. Cluster coding is incorrect but can't seem to change it Vag Comm (genuine tool also)
Dash is Magnetti Marrelli Car Mileage is 117060 Km

It can be just the checksum is wrong. Try to recode the dash using same coding as it has now.

Coding is showing 0000 but should be a 5 figure coding.

tried changing it to various other codings but still shows 999999 on display and guages incorrect.

I read somewhere that if the mileage is altered and it comes up 99999 then you need to disconnect battery for a couple of minutes. also the fuel needles are notorious for going wrong but i dont know what the fix is.

So you dump is seriously f***ed. You should always make a backup before using any tool on the dump.
Try to find a good dump from same instrument cluster and rework it to suite your car.

Not my Dump.... I've been given the job of trying to sort it. This is what happens when people buy cheap tools of ebay and try to save a few quid doing the job them selves. A little bit of knowledge can be a bad thing.

Has anyone got any Any Audi TT Dumps 2003 Year 1.8T 225Bhp Quattro, Manual Gearbox, Magnetti Marrelli Cluster.

    Part No: 8N2920980A

    Other details off label on Cluster: 0905-220-009X, MM4, PP-T40, 5800 1000 2901, 28/06/07, 11:17 1, AD89FT6H

The Cluster was replaced at some time hence the 2007 date on the label.

Don't know much about it but I read your dump with a VDO crypting tool and it looks fine to me.
Don't know why you get this error.

The message with checksum doesn't mean that the checksum is calculated. The dump can be still corrupt though.

No just replaced the Cluster with a like for like, This was 2 years ago but from memory i'm sure we also copied the dump from the new cluster into the old one and that worked also. But like i say it was over 2 years ago and my memory is starting to fade.
