Hello guys.
Finally i'll find the fault.
The problem is the ECU. Is typical fault in EDC16 volkswagen brand.
I've changed the ECU and the car is OK.

Hi
This module golf ECU do have problems for Dry Joints you might have to send the ECU for testing or if can open it and check it for dry joints.
Have a look at this post from other forum which had same problems.

can anyone help? I have a 1.9 tdi 2006 plate golf, the coil light on the dash has stopped coming on when i try to turn on the ignition to start the car. also my power steering is on before the cars started up. The engine will not start until the coil light comes on. I had an auto elctrician look at it and he couldn't find any fault codes, he thought it could be the ECU. Any thoughts????
you have to change the stop button that is on the brake, if you look the rear light doesn't work correctly
Hi mate
Brake Light switch will not cause car not to start

dave,
Get some one to diagnose the vehicle and see what fault codes you have and post them here, some one will try and help you out.
But, at the same time I would advise you to start your own post rather than to confuse members with this post as this car is already been FIXED.
Hope this helps.
Ash
Thanks Ash

Hi,
I looking for some help please!!!!!!
I've got fault code P0321 and P0322 on my golf. Wont start until codes cleared, then when engine switched off - code errors and again wont start.
I'm looking for the wiring diagram for the engine so that I can locate that crankshaft position sensor to see if its the problem.
Any help would be greatly greatly apperciated!!!!
Hi
The Crank Shaft Sensor on this Engine BKC is just near the Oil Filter under there if you look nicely you will see it.
You got to have small hands to get there
Hope this helps.
Ash
Thanks Ash

I've got small girlie hands, but my Dad hasn't, LOL. He wanted the wiring digram, so that he could check all the wires, n asked me to have a look online.
He thinks it might need a new wiring loom, if that make sense!!
Bit baffled myself, !!!!
Hi whurlly,
I don't think he will need the wiring loom, I have done quite a few Crank Sensor on this model So, would go for the new sensor first and see how it get on.
Ash
Thanks Ash

Hi Hector,
Thanks for this. I will give him a phone and see what he has done to the car, as I said I'm not that up on car repairs, LOL, and kind of switch off when he starts getting technical
I really did think that he wanted the wiring diagram though, and I've called VW but they wont give me it unless I put the car in there to get the work done.
Do you have the wiring diagram that I could use/give to him??
ta muchly

Hi -
Its the pest again!!
Just checked with him and he has changed the Crankshaft Postion Sensor, but still getting the error codes.
That's why he wants the wiring diagram, so that he can check that as well.
Thanks again, sorry for being a bit of a muppet re this, but car has now been off road for over week and its doing my f****n head in!!

Hi Whurlly,
