    Default Golf V 1.9 TDI 105 CV

    Hello Guys,
    I have a Golf V engine BKC, year 2004.
It starts when i turn the key , and the spiral light is on, but if i turn the key and the spiral ligth is off, the car don't start.
I checked to vag-com and had the next fault code:
18009 Relay for supply voltage Terminal 30(J317).

I checked the relay and fuses. The relay J317 is new.
    Any idea?
    Thanks

    Hello .
This evening i've checked the car.
the fuse box is wet and the terminal are well, not burned, no rusted. I've changed the fuse box to other car and sometimes not start.
I've checked powers to relays, terminal 30 and 87 and it is well. I've checked the powers and grounds to engine ECU, and it is well.
When the car not start, ( when i switch on ,and the spiral light doesn't on) then ,fan starts to running and it is impossible to comunicate to ECU with Vag-com ,as well the fuel pump relay doesn't work.
The car to go mad to me!!!!.

I send the wiring diagrams to elsa win.

    Any idea?

the fuseboard can play up so check for power & earths at engine control relay. this feeds the ecm & the ecm is not getting power if the glow lamp is not illumated. you can fit a remote relay to do the job tapping in to other feeds on fuseboard.
