Can anyone help on this cd radio model KDC W5141 UAY I need code for it..in most kenw.radio code is in tuner eprom as I read here..can anyone help with code off dump ?

what chip do I search ?

OK I find only one elemeent in tuner section marked as L04 so probably this should be 24c04..but it is not ordinary smd part litle smaler than ordinary..tomorow try to read it with seeprog

yes , it?s 24LC04 tssop8 package ... maybe you can read it in-circuit ...

Hi all
I had same problem, read L04 tssop onboard and posted dump. Nobody was able to find the code.

You need the remote control for that.
Worked perfect for me.

OK so here we are...I broke one pin when try to solder wires to read it via seeprog...in future beter idea will be try to read it in circuit..

I will keep cd drive and output ampl..all other down to trash...

As I see nobody have clean solution..this yust means we dont have time to solve it or need more practice

well my friend I still can do that..IF somebody have dump with code disabled...I can put in ordinary smd 24c04 and solder it there..but as I can see in past few days nobody have that solution.....

this is ordinary cd/radio not some fancy Alpine so probably nobody engage more eforts in solving this typee of radios..but IF you think theeree is solution please post it here so we all can learn

on the end of that thread i posted dumps, with and without code. Try to program L04 with my "noncode" dump.
Also there was little change in mainboard chip. Just look at it.
