    Default Golf IV Airbag

    Hello
    i just scan a GOLF IV its indicate airbag error , crash in memory i try to erase with the texa but nothing happen
    my question is, isn't impossible to erase it and i have to change the airbag mcu .?

    djhmd, what is the MY of that golf? there is a known issue with MY 2000/2001 golf platform, the airbag controller crashes when scanned by diagnostic tools. symptom is that airbag light stays on and airbag will not fire in case of accident.

    the cure is to replace airbag controller or reprogram the old one with fixed dump.

    You can't erase airbag Crash with Multibrand Scanner mate.
    Just start, and all come itself!!!!!!!
