    Default DREAMBOX dm500s problem flash

hello my friends i had a dm500s with pli.
the box stopeed boot and i tried to flash it with null cable and dream up.THe problem is that when i upload an image (yes i tried the official) dream up has the opinion to select an erase flash or not.
if i press yes dream up gives me this :
ERROR, flash-erase failed, box will be unusable now!!
if i press no upload and flashing is ok but box cant boot,
stacks when i select the time, and makes a reboot.
i have watched-but cant see because it appears for a very litle time-an error message to my screen with a X symbol when tries to boot after time selection.
i have tried a diferent machine, a different ccable and the images: rl (oficial) , gemini , pli , nemesis.
erase.img gaves me this :Found no valid jffs2 in image, flash-erase not supported

    any suggestion plz?
    edit- sorry for my english!

I'm having similar problems as vasilism13.
tried erase.img and it gives me same message:
No valid jffs2, Flash-erase not supported.

Tried erase with DreamUp, but get lock-bit error.
Upload img without erase gives upload error.

All very frustrating. Have tried 3 versions of DreamUp and even tried a version of DreamUp for Linux.

All similar results. Anyone run into a problem like this?
    TIA for any help

Try the oldest version of Dreamup you can find and flash this to your box. After flashing the erase image you then need to flash your image of choice.

What type of null modem cable are you using i.e does it have a USB connector? Try d/l and installing the original from DMM and then your preferred image.

This normally happens if you don't manually flash erase before flash?

    Are you flash erasing first?

Has there been an image that has worked on the box and if so which was that? What was the last image you flashed on the box? Are you using a null modem cable with an USb connector at one end? What version of Windows are you using and is your firewall tured off? Have you tried the latest DreamUP and the oldest DreamUP?
