Problem with handheld tacho universal

I have tacho universal 2008. Dont start: I mean that when I connect it doesnt show anything on the screen.

Plu cable (any cable, even direct power) sounds relay and screen turn on, then screen off and nothing is showed on the screen.

Past weeks have problems with sync problems, and update handheld. As the unit does not start cannot use the tacho universal kit with the null o cable.

I have found this in my package, I have never seen before, I think is a programmer to load again the soft in the tacho 2008, but have no instructions. I upload a Photo (sorry is a mobile phone).

Anyone Knows what is this? Anyone have the instructions? It is the kit that sells ecutools to repair tacho universal??? As I have seen if I not erase the two ics that comes in the programmer , I could repair and load again the software in my tacho universal ever time I want.


Lot of questions but, understand me I have found this and really dont Know what is? This is my last option to repair my tacho universal, if I make something bad will be no reverse.

Ok I supose I must to programm ic111 ic222 and 24c02 , then mount again in tacho universal. I will try it.

It worked!!!!!!!

But only could programm ic111 and ic112 the eeprom always give error in programmer ( red light). Therefore I have mounted all, and now tacho universal turns on agains and shows the menu correctly........ This repair Kit it is very usefull.

I have a question can I put my ic111 and 112 version 2008.07 into clips where is show 2008.01.24 and to do a backup in new 29f040's of my ic's

I tried changing the chips on there but had problems.

Try it no harm done.
