I have a 7as ecm that has a lo nox file, I tried to flash it with a non lo nox file and it gave me a message that said, no compatible ecm found on winflash, is there a way around this?

These messages appear when you tru to flashing ECM inappropriate flash file ... usually.
ECM part number mismatch flash file number.
You check compliance to Engine number?
For 7AS,8YL/6TS 9NS and other old engines in Cat ET flash file disc available only LowNox files, it causes a problem low power.
If anyone has an old Cat ET flas file for 3126,3406 Engine not LowNox please share, it will be very helpful for me and many people on this great forum.

The pre low nox files are already posted just search caterpillar flash files and you will find them quickly.
