hi guys got up this morning an had no channels, shall i flash a new image or is liverpool now dead

you was right bulldog thanks mate, only problem now every channel is in unsorted folder, just checked scan settings an bouquet is 'leave current'.
can i fix it or do i have to do it manually

You need latest services and bouquets. If you cant find them you can put them in order using the remote.

Heres my service and bouquets for Liverpool. They probably need updating . Set your location blue\blue and do a rescan to update them.

The only way is with the remote. There is a prog to do it but can't remember what it's called. Do a Google

a sorted scan with the UltraPhat Apocalypse image will auotsort your channels for new NGTV channel map in liverpool area. you can then make a backup of the services.xml and bouquets.xml in the zapit folder and ftp those files back on to your old image.
