Default Ford Transit Connect tdci key problem

    Hallo

I've a question for the experts in Ford key coding business.
I've changed a Ford' Transit connect tdci engine (Year 2007 Lynx engine R3PA with siemens ecu).
With IDS i've performed a pcm' calibration file update.
    Damned thing !!!
Probably I did a mistake during pcm reflashing, so now the
engine not cranck. The red light in the instrument cluster is hot (blink for a couple o seconds than remain stuck in on state).
In engine ecu there is a dtc P1602.
Probably during the reflash the pcm lost all adapted keys.
Infact during pcm reflash ids asked me if the car is pats equipped.
I've answered with yes.The recalibration-reflash procedure take a couple of minutes. And ended with a succesfull message.
I think i've selected a wrong menu setting in ids and i've reflashed the pcm without retaining key information.
    Is it possible?
    My question is?
Can i relearn the keys with ids if someone can supply me the incode-outcode?
How can i resolve this issue?
    Any idea?
The transit have two key with blu label.
    Thank you very much.

Hi, if this is the later generation connect (ECU is under wheel arch) you will need to do a security re-alignment.
Using IDS, go to security/PATS Functions/Module initialisation. When you are asked which module you have replaced, click both ECU and dash. Follow the promts to reset immobilser.
Take note at the top of this screen will display how many keys are programmed. If 1 or more, the key data has not been lost and a reset should restore operation.

You will need someone to give you the incode.

    hope that helps

    Hallo

You have lost all key in Dash.
You have to re-learn the key again.
You need a IDS to do the job, and also someone you gave a incode-outcode.
Alternatively you can use AVDI with Ford keylearn option.
With this tool you don't need incode-outcode.
A couple of month ago i've relearned the keys in a Transit Van.
No cranck and lock light flashing in the dash.
Relearned the keys and the Van return to life.
