Need help with Tacho Universal

Hi, am a newbie here. Just purchased a Tacho universal device from china. I don't know if its a clone or the genuine one. Am really confused with all the cables and stuff inside it. Don't have previous experience with this type of device. So if anyone of you knows a website or some other place where i can get good information on how to use it then please let me know. Thanx
P.S: Although i got a user manual, it is poorly translated and very hard to understand

Its a clone...the original is no longer produced...since some year...

What language you need...for manual...

Its not poorly translated....it was wrote in german than translated...but the problem is that the pictures of digaconsult dont match with pictures of universal tacho...

Digaconsult had good quality cables and universal...you have to see if its the right...are your cables enuerated...inside manual,somewhere is explained which number cable for which brand and tipe of car.

Thanx for your quick response, I need it in english language and pictures will help alot. Can you send me a picture of the the crystals look like. It is mentioned alot in my manuals. I bouth this tool from Auto diagnostic tools. X431. Ford vcm ids. Mileage Correction.

does it mean the launch x431 they sell is also a clone? I had asked them and they said the machine is original but they only change its language from Chinese to English

the launch probably wont be a clone but wen u try updating it it will get blocked for updates

From what my friend you are just now talking about?

Launch or universal tacho

Universal Tacho is sure Clone,because no more built in germany by factory,of fact of cloning.

Launch? no idea....

My problem is with tacho universal. I only mentioned x-431 coz u said the cmpany from which i bought tacho sell clones

From cn you can get cheap tools,because they are cloned,..or would you really spend over 10k to get ori one?

Yeah u r right. So tools from china have no reliability as clones can never match the quality of originals

This,my dear is not the truth for all clones.

I have used lot of original and cloned tools.

There are also lot of great cloned tools,good as ori ones,maybee better....anyway,the greatest problem is updating and support,as you see with your usermanual.

Search some post about tacho universal...you will find mauals here,i know this,beacause i have updated my mauals here

Thanx Bro. Have u come across a tool named Dashfixer. It works like tacho universal and it looks like an original.

the tacho pro you bought from CN must be cloned one, but there is also have good quality one tomorrow I will ask about my friend for this problem if have the particular manuals, I will offer for you Bless you.
