Every time radio is installed in not original car it asks for the code and dealers provide customers with those codes.

Sometimes it asks for the code in original car too...

Unit is made by Continental, RES etc.

Serials are like:

T16QNxxxxxxxxx
T19QNxxxxxxxxx
T25QNxxxxxxxxx
T30QNxxxxxxxxx
T82QNxxxxxxxxx

The code range is 1111-6666

I did not say it didn't need a code, read carefully, I said it was VIN coded,
on these sometimes they won't work if the VIN is wrong
