Hi Donnie can you tell me what difference there is in ECM,s with same part no one off 12volt ISM to replace one on 24 volt ISX.Will 12 volt one work with 24volt or just get fried.Other prob is retrieving cal from the original ECU as it only hooks up every now and then and shows low voltage issues though all harnesses check OK.
    Regards Col

I can confirm does work just went into features and parameters enabled battery voltage monitor on insite and switched from 12 to 24 after installing it and then reprogrammed it to ISX cal that was the same as in old ECM which I managed to open thru a second data connector[truck had a second 6 pin deutsch taped behind fuse panel as well as the 9 pin at front, havent seen that before].Old ECM kept coming up with 2 active faults low voltage at 2 sensors but were showing correct when tested and correct all the way back to ECM.Replacement ECM still isnt showing the faults so think its ok.

Does anyone have a list of the common components on a Cummins ECM?

    Example:
    Microprocessor
    EEPROM
    Logic Gates?
    analog-to-digital converters

    Hi
I have an 2150 isl ECM, it has a modified calibration (deleted egr, dpf & scr)
what 's the best way to extract that calibration so that I can use it on other ECM's?

    thanks!

It seems you can not, if you want to use another calibration download from Cummins Incal,
and directly overwrite it with a calibration you want.
If that is you can do and succeed, please do share how / step steps here because I want to.

yes its possible to copy , from the first ecm , just you cant when someone encript the way to read flash , but need special software to protect .

In my experience , you can use calterm ,you need special ecfg to read and write ....... not need open the ecm , or desold

u can use galleto master , but need open , ktag and kess works to do that too but need boot mode .
