Hello,

I have a celect plus ecm that will not take a cal, even after rom boot with a bench harness. I noticed that the bootloader version box is blank in Calterm when I am connected to it. Is the bootloader available as a file, and can it be reloaded into the ecm?

Hi m8

Have you tried unlocking the module? That sometimes helps.

What fault codes are you getting from ECM? Be specific this can help in your troubleshoot.

Donniemnemonic,

I used calterm unlock, found status was 1DOA. I changed it to 5EED, then to 600D, turned the ignition off for 30 seconds, then back on and much to my amazement run location is now default and the original cal file and parameters are back!

Glad you got it working again, though I can't take credit for that you figured that one all on your own. Seems the more we play around with calterm the more we seem to learn.
Did not even realise that it was possible to revert to default and regain full operational functionality from Romboot without having to recalibrate. Nice share m8.

Do you know if there are any E2m files for celect ecms besides the ones posted here by Jctech cause all the ones here do not display the correct ecm part and serial numbers. Unlike the celect plus ecms and so I am not sure of the accuracy of the information uploaded from celect ecms.

Here is a celect e2m that I believe is a different number than JC Tech's. It's the only one I have. Let me know how it works.

Use Insite and the InCal disks (posted elsewhere). Be sure to use the "save and restore" option in Insite

Hi m8sThanks for the e2m file you posted Hpcummins. Have tested it and still reading the wrong part and serial numbers. Tested with P/N 3618046, 3619037 and 3084473.Does anyone have an e2m file for these part numbers that works correctly?
