    Hi Hercamp.
Did you manage to win with this problem? haven't been on DK lately but would really like to help like you have always helped me in the past. Is this an ISBe ecm?

    Hi Camp.
Sorry for a late response. Hope I understand your post clearly but i once had an isbe ecm that failed and shorted between positive and negative and i resolved the issue by replacing the large surge protection diode inside the ecm. if that is your problem then just removing the diode will cause your ecm to work again but you will need to replace it for future protection of the ecm. hope this helps.

I have a 3619037 Celect ECM with fault 342. Engine does not start and it also does not communicate with Insite.

Please advise me if there is a way to fix this.

    Thank you.

Did you try to put the key switch on and accelerate full throttle three times before starting the engine?
If so there could be an internal power supply failure, which could be lost of the 5volts to the accelerator pedal or there is no ground within the ECM to that circuit.
    hope this helps...

All you need to do is to put it in )ROM BOOT MODE)

Have your calibration cd and your insite ready for calibration and have an OEM harness connector with you (preferably a short harness connector with loose ends/wires)
Put together these wires from your OEM harness pins 10+12 and 14 together then turn key on while holding these wires together in order for the ECM to swith into ROM Boot mode...
after this process connect to Insite and calibrate the unit using that same part number. CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU USE THE SAME PART NUMBER WHEN CALIBRATING EVEN IF IT FAILS TO CALIBRATE AND WHEN RESTARTING THE CALIBRATION...

ITS WISE TO DO THIS PROCESS ON THE BENCH....

    Don't forget to thank.

Those are for the injectors. usually they are blown by the faulty mosfets. they supply current to the mosfets and there is an overload to the resistors.
