I have followed guide to the point of storing satellites 28.2 and 19.

I have all the channels on 28.2 but how do I get the dish to move to 19 so I can do a scan

    Default Motorized Dish Setup Question

Any best guode to setup DM800HD with motorized dish with C+KU LNB with a Diseqc switch.
When I setup, with LNB1 with C-band with Diseqc 1.2 and A/A command. LNB2 with KU band universal with Diseqc 1.2 and A/B command. USAL=No.

Sometimes dish does not move to the stored location, while on DM500 has no issue.

    Thank you

    Angry DM800 Positione settings

    All,
I am new in this forum. I have a DM800 with Domica 8.0. I tried several images and I have the same problem when I try to configure the positioner. My dish is not oriented as it need to be (South 0.0). When I search for a satellite and I found it. I store it on a dedicated position (1). After exit, the motor move to another place. Are the satellites positions are automatically calculated as I have filled the longitude and latitude of my position?
    Could someone help please?
PS: I tried several images and the problem is the same.
    Thanks in advance.

    Thumbs up DM800 Positione settings

    All,
sorry, I had to reply first to access to the pdf file explaining how to set up satellites positions manually. I discovered what was wrong in my configuration. In fact, to set up manually satellites, I had to set Usual to No. That's it. I suppose, if we set Usual to yes, the OS calculate automatically the satellites positions using longitude and latitude we have stored within satellite configuration.
Thanks to whom posted the procedure.

    Help Please

I can't set up more than one sat!
I'm using Blackhole image, latest, have tried others, got a moteck v boxII to move the motor.

I go through the following procedure to set up and scan a satellite:-

    1. Go into Tuner Configuration and choose a satellite,
    Astra 28.2E,
then I choose all other settings within that menu,
LNB 1, Universal LNB, 13V, DiseqC mode 1.2, Use Usals for this sat = NO, stored position = 1.

    2. Go into Positioner Setup,
Choose Tune, (Red Button) and then select Astra 28.2E, set a frequency that I know I can get (BBC) then press OK.

    3. Go into Positioner Movement and find Astra 28.2E - all OK so far.

    3. Go into Auto Scan, and scan in channels.

Right up to this point it works OK, I now have all channels available scanned in for 28.2E.

I now try to repeat the process for the next satellite,

    1. I choose Thor or any other satellite.
choose all other settings as in no. 1. above, except I use stored position = 2.

    2. Go into Positioner Setup,
Choose Tune, (Red Button) and then try to move off Astra 28.2E, but cannot, it won't let me scroll through the satellites to any other, it just is stuck on Astra 28.2E?

    Any ideas guys

Hi I just got my Dreambox and used this guide to set it up. Works really well with my dumb stab motor. Used the settings as described and it worked perfectly.
I have one issue that seems to be problematic. The box will not store all the satellites after I scan them so on the satellites green button I only seem to be able to access the default sat list.
I am sure I will get to the bottom of it but it is causing me some grief. The channels that it has found for the non default satellites are not even displayed in the all channels red button menu??

Thanks any way for a great guide it got me started anyway.
