    password given is to get into BIOS it is not admin password to get into windows

    no you haven't done anything wrong

    The BIOS password allows you to go into BIOS and change BIOS settings generally like boot up order so you can install an operating system from CD/DVD

    an admin password to allow a windows operating system to boot up is totally different and requires some kind of software like Hirens Boot Disc to remove it

    it depends on what suffix follows your tag 9B2L5R1-xxxx

    Thank you for fast reply. That is the number from the sticker. There was no suffix. I'll check it later. I'm at the work right now
