    As the thread is bumped up,

    UPA USB can't read all 8P.xx ECU's IN CIRCUIT without lifting the pins as known but to lift pin on PLCC chip is not that easy, or cutting the lines. Another alternative for UPA is to make it works stronger and then working well on those ECU's without lifting pins needed.

    Can you tell us more? What mods we have to do? It's good to know all that as it speeds up the job.

    it possible to read it without desoldier mcu or lift pins from board, but you have to apply current to ecu

    with chip soldered to ro board and lifting the pins mentioned above it works 100%. thanks a lot
