Hi,
Sounds like SQL conflict.
What other software do you have installed?

IE7 IE8
Clear the cookies and temp files in IE.
Internet Options\Advanced Tab (Restore Advanced Settings) (Reset IE Settings)

Add or Remove Programs:
Remove; VIDA
Restart:
Remove:
MSXML 6.0 Service Pack 2 OR MSXML 6.0 SP2
SQL Server 2005
SQL Native Client
SQL Server VSS Writer
SQL Server Setup Support Files (English)
?If you have .NET 4.0 remove it!?
NOTE:
MSXML 6.0 Parser is OK to leave on the system
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 is OK to leave on the system
Restart:
Above SQL programs are installed by VIDA
Remove all other SQL Programs that are installed. Other SQL software will conflict.
Restart:

Delete:
C:Temp (if present)
C:VIDA
C;VIDASave
C:Volvo (if present)
C:\Program Files\Volvo & Volvo Cars (Delete ?Volvo & Volvo Cars? Folder)
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server (Delete ?Microsoft SQL Server? Folder)

Run Registry Editor:
Backup Registry!
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Volvo
(Delete ?Volvo? Folder)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Ford Motor Company
(Delete ?Ford Motor Company? Folder)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Volvo Cars
(Delete ?Volvo Cars? Folder)
Restart:

Install VIDA:
Select ?VIDA Customized? on setup page.
Check only:
Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1
Microsoft SQL Server Express
Un-check everything else click next
SQL will take some time to install, Ignore errors!

If this goes smooth, restart computer!
Install VIDA select ?VIDA All-in-one? on setup page.

Hi all:
I?m trying to install VOLVO VIDA 2010C after downloading files and a few seconds before installation starts this message appears:
"The screen resolution is below the recommended for VIDA. Change the settings to 1280 x 1024
or this might result in problems running VIDA"

As soon I press ok the second message pops up:

"One or more of the computer?s components does not fulfill VIDA?S requirements. The installation will be aborted"

The thing is I have a new laptop with lots of features and I do not think it cannot fulfill VIDA?S requirements

Please help me with this

You will need to modify the DVD (Compinfo.ini)
VIDA2010C\Install\DVD\Vida_dvdheader\Compinfo.ini

I remember having trouble with this. I think 2010C does not support Win7 32-bit even though it says it does?

Try this: ?Compinfo.ini?
Delete:
[OS]
XPSP=3
VistaSP=1
ErrorMess=Not a supported operating system, VIDA only supports 32-bit Windows XP Pro SP3, 32-bit Windows Vista Business SP1 and 32-bit Windows 7.
