Flashing a Dbox2 using A Null Modem Cable and Hyper Terminal

Thanks, but I downloaded IFA a few days ago and it hangs like this below when I try to flash the last working image back.

Have you tried flashing a different image as this might be corrupt. I don't know much about boot logs as i use just a xover cable. Are you sure the image is fine?

hey guys, im trying to connect the dbox to hyper terminal. but when its comes to setting up a connection, i cannot change the country/region, its stuck on uruguay (598) or the area code.

can anyone help??

hi there,
I have done everything as explained in this guide.there is a slight problem at the end.It says at the last step when i tyepd in cp.l 120000 10020000 1F8000 enter

it says
copy to flash ....Flash not erased
=>

and it does not say done after 2 mins not even after waiting 10 mins

Please advise me with ur experience and knowledge.

Hi there,

I recently tried this and the mistake I was during the 'transfer file' part. Make sure you are using the correct transfer protocol. One file you need to transfer as 'text file' and the other as 'file'

Hope this makes sense.

Don't think it matters. It greys out when you select your com port.
