Hi, some time ago there was a "non upgradable" firmware posted on this forum used to testing 100315e Version without risks.
    Anyone have it yet?

Simple.. your JDM doesn't program the PIC!
Ic-prog first write and after verify the programmed code.. so, during the verify, on the first address (000000h) you get that error!

I used jdm programmer and WinPic800. First i connected programmer to 5 pins on pic and got an error when i tried to upload hex. Don't remember if it was 000000h. But then i connected ground and 12V to the car interface on OP-COM and programming finished succesfully.

PIC programmmers is much, simple is JDM based, and complex for proffi.
If there is a need programming PIC controllers in the future by USB and easy to use may be purchas PICKIT2 or 3.

    Hi guys,

Im quite new on forum and i would like to download one of hex files for Op-Com

Done it, that topic helped me a lot. I have programmed OP-COM PIC on board with Willem programmer after i ran newest software and it erased PIC completely. It works well now.
