Default Ford SRS Unit - What chip is this?

Hi everyone. I am trying to teach myself chip programming by practicing on some bad airbag modules. There isn't a lot of information or manuals out there on chip types and actually reading the chips, so I am trying to learn by practicing.

I have this module from a 2002 Ford F-150 Pickup, and I can't figure out what kind of chip it is. The connector looks like it could be a bosch, but it does not say bosch anywhere.

There are three chips. I can't find any datasheets for them.

    One is Infineon
    71001FAR001
    a2c18576
    V1-3 F1

The second has the mark of Texas Instruments and these numbers:
    760027clc009
    980 s1F35034PG
    F20-31A0L6W

    The third just has numbers:
    6975545348
    0252
    71025ae3

From my research I have learned that you can read some ford bosch units through the k-line, but this connector has no pins where the k-line seems to be normally found (from pictures I found in other posts).

I understand that maybe these can be reset using ford IDS/VCM, but again, I am trying to learn. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am attaching photos of the connector and board.

hi there, this is a bad one to pratice on as it has a TI chip inside and unles you have a programmer that will read and programme this chip you have no chance. you can reset nearly all late ford with the vcm you need to read the fault codes then highlight the fault code that says lateral acceleration threshold exceeded crash detected. do a pin point test on it and it will ask if you want to erase the crash memory click yes let it finish then go back delete the fault codesand they will all clear. have never tried it on an f-150 but works on all other late fords.hope this helps

    regards

Default Ford SRS Unit - What chip is this?

Crash data stored in a Texas processor, like in some
    Honda modules...
Exists a good tool to clean crash data...

    Thanks for your reply.

I was afraid that might be the case. I have only ever played with 8 pin SOIC style modules in Nissans, which are very straight forward. I wanted to learn more on how to access the memory of the MCU style chips. I don't mind investing in the hardware. Is there any way to tell what type of TI chip it is so I can look for the right programmer?

very strange module / mcu this is.

did you friends find solution to this ?

is it worth investing in buying a tool for this mcu ? since modules with these chips are older models ?
