Hi,
One part of power supply on connector 2x6pts on processor board is delivery by relay board through 12Vdc battery... check voltages on relay board with the interface powered by 12Vdc table supply.

Hi,
Can you post pictures of microprocessor PCB, pls ? Do you have 5Vdc of USB power supply ?

Thanks for picture.
Change USBN9604 and reflash MIcroprocessoe MB90F546GS.

Hi,
I'm trying to get my relays clicking on my 'full-chip' Lexia at home by applying external power ~15V on the big varistor pins and connecting it only to PC.
I found that when I select vehicle model in Diagbox, the PIC16f684 receive some pulses, but obviously not the right to operate the relays.
Vpp rises from 0V to 12V while pins 12 and 13 are low, which (accoding to PIC's datasheet) means the PIC should enter in programming mode. After the Vpp rise, I see pulses on ICSP_Data(13) and ICSP_Clock(12) pins. Meanwhile Vcc is OK, 5V.
Sometimes 12V are held very long on Vpp pin, sometimes just about 10ms, I can't tell what it's depending on.
Looking into disassembly of the PIC's hex-file, I expect to see data comming on Clock(12) and Data(13) pins while pin 11 (RA2) is held low, in order to control the relays.
In my case, for some reason commands do not come, instead it seems like programming mode is initiated.
My questions are:
1. Is expected PIC to be entered in programming mode? Should Fujitsu MCU perform programming of the PIC? Is 12V expected on Vpp at all and why?
2. What for are the comparators 2901 on the relay board?
3. What analog signals should PIC measure on pins 8(AN6), 9(AN5) and 10(AN4) and what are they used for?
4. Is it a problem that my optocouplers are HCPL0639, but not mention by titoun HCPL063N?

Hi,
Yes Micro MB90F546GS reprog PIC if it's necessary. And Vpp signal is transmit by opto on micropocessor board when you have all power supply presents (5Vdc USB and 12Vdc vehicle).
Try to change optocouplers by HCPL 063N and HCPL 0500 ... and tell me if it's works!

Hello,
I have a chinese clone Lexia interface with Diagbox 7.40.
It works good on full can cars (tested on new 308, 208 and DS3), but have some problem with K-Line modules.
For example on 2004-2005 Citroen C3 I can't connect with Engine, ABS, Steering and Transmission (no problem on other modules of this car).
Can I solve this problem ?
Thank you
Hi,
Check hardware K line components on interface, and check Obd Cable ?
Can you post pictures on two PCB of your VCI ?

Hi,
At this moment I'm not able to find 063N at reasonable price, but I've just noticed on my main board the two 0R 'resistors' in red on the attached picture.
I've read that these should be replaced by some capacitors in parallel with 47kohm resistors.
Q: What capacitor values should I put there to be as the original?
On my board next to the connector the hex-inverters IC is ACT04, but I saw on another lexia's PCB there AHCT04 - which one is identical to original?
MainBoardRes0.jpg
P.S. Just to test, I've replaced the main board with one from a friend's working lexia and the relays started to click. Thus now I'm sure the problem is my main board. I've replaced 0ohm resistors with 33n and 47kohm in parallel - not working again.

Hi,
Just a little question: your XS EVO is recognize on usb port as "USB com board EVOLUTION driver" or not ?
I think your problem comes from optos HCPL 0639. The characteristics are not exactly the same regarding the switching current of internal transistors, mount HCPL 063N to get rid of a problem on this side.
Alternatively you can try to add or change the value of each base resistor on the optos HCPL 0639
Concerning the HC04 no worries.
Regards
Yes, my interface is recognized as "USB Com Board Evolution Driver ( Multi-Instance )"
The LED flashes 3 times when I connect USB cable, then remains ON.
I've compared all resistors in optocouplers circuits to those on the working PCB - they are the same. The only difference are optocouplers, which on the working PCB are 0638 - IMO the same as 0639 or... ?
Almost all of the transistors differs on the two PCBs - i.e. on the working there are many 7025, on my - 7002; A6+P vs P4:K; two caps missing on my PCB next to DB15 connector (marked red on the picture)
Is 33nF value OK on these capacitors paralleled with 47kohm resistors? I chose their value randomly, I have no idea what it should be...
Best regards and many thanks for helping me, titoun!

Hello!
Guys I need help with diagnosis my interface. I have full-chip version. At beginning it worked well with my Peugeot 407 and Diagbox 7.02. Now its connecting to PC and communicate with software well, but its not reading VIN number automatically and can't connect to any module. I'm only able to read engine fault codes. Checked this on another Peugeot 407 and it's behave the same. Checked also with Peugeot 307 (VAN version), worked perfectly.
So, I assume it's not the problem with car or software, but interface hardware problem. Assume that VAN bus and K-line bus work correctly, but something is wrong with CAN bus. Is that correct?
Data from PSA Interface Checker:

Where problem might be? Where to start looking for defect?
Edit: I forgot to say, I can hear some relays during car identify attempt.

Hi,
To check welds of relays on relay pcb and / or replace 9817-2 by HCPL 063N.
