Is you mcu HC05 or HC705? The main difference to force the two into bootstrap mode is logic level of PD4. HC705 needs logic high on PD4, UPA pin 6. while HC05 needs logic low, UPA pin 8.

Thanks for responding. For the explanation see that you understand much about the subject.
My MCU is a D6OJ (HCO5B16), according to his explanation I have to lift the pin 8 (PD4/AN4), so I can read and write without problem, the MCU?
Upa manual confuses me, there are two pin No. 6

    Many thanks Zmann

    Sorry for my English

Two pin6 using is for HC705, PD3 and PD4 need to connect together to upa pin6, logic high.

But no!, your HC05B16 need to connect PD4 to UPA pin8 (and PD3 to pin6)

Don't know which pin need to left. One possibility to check is making sure to all connections then run and see on SW, connection for 'Bad'

    Hello Zmann
I made the connections as shown inside the UPA.
Lift the pin PD4 and VDO (it was not possible to read)
Lift only VDO pin (it was not possible to read)
Lift the pin PD4, VDO, and PD3 (it was not possible to read)

    Am I doing something wrong?

After reading fail, how do you find in the connections

No experience with this board, please find the xtal frequency on the board and set in the UPA correspondingly

Something is going on with this.
Herewith the result of reading. (With the VDO pin up)
Can not read the MCU. I believe that the calve is the need to lift the pin.
    Xtal: 4MHz
Maybe UPA is unable to work with this MCU.

Your connection looks very abnormal. Normally after operation it should show 'ok' or 'bad' like my photo of HC705 reading. If I were you I would verify that the programmer is still functioning, with 68HC11A8 should be ok if you can find one. But HC908 may be better as it also use IRQ 10v.

Not sure that I understand your question correctly but the connection to HC11, HC908, HC705 and HC05 are different to each other. Consult the manual (help>contents on SW) for a particular MCU.

    I leave it as impossible.
I find no way to read the MCU.
I tried to XPROG, nor read it.
