    No free coes for either!

Most dealers will be able to unlock the 6111 with any troubles but the 5800 depends if it's SL2 or SL3. If it's SL3 only buying the code will work at present, if its SL2 most dealers with the appropriate kit should be able to unlock it.

On the 5800 type in *#0000#

If the software version is v57 (I think it's around that number) then it will be an SL3 phone.

If the software is below that, say v23, then it will be SL2 & can be easily unlocked in a shop

Code calculators for DCT-4 series phones don't work for anything built after late 2004. The 6111 was only announced in June 2005 and Nokia had started to tighten up on network locking protocols by then!

In any event even if it were possible and indeed locked to O2 there are several permutations you'd need to know like what box-serial needs to be used and what ASIC type...

It's easy to find out that the 6111 is ASIC 6 but where would you find the box serial? There are at least ten possibilities!!

I'd like to know how you arrived at Box Serial: 32821??

I'm not sure if that's the correct code.

That code came from the graphic instruction on how to enter a code. You have to give your e-mail address to get the codes sent to you.

They also have this little clause on the BB5 service...

please note that you pay for our service and NOT for the unlock solution!
by clicking on the buy now button you are accepting this.
As a shop we guarantee our unlocking codes. If we can't unlock a phone, we don't charge the customer. Having said that we have the customers phone in our hands at the time of unlocking.

    This is a dated site!

For example for Samsung it gives:

    In newer phones:
    #*7337#

In almost all cases this will destroy modern Samsung's resulting in a handset with a IMEI containing all Zero's!!!
