    have to agree,
i mean if youre getting angry about onions maybe you should think seriously about not eating them anymore

its not just the onions, its the tomato puree business. and the shop brand lemonade. they don't sell it anymore. it tastes the same as the schwepps or r whites so why would i or should i pay a quid when i can pay 22p. naan bread or poppadoms too. they'v stopped selling them. if they carry on the way they are, they wont stock anything. the evil b*st*rds

next time people reading this thread are in there, use the 'self-serve' system, press the button, see if there is an option for 'loose onion' like 'loose apple'

what I don't like about Tesco is that the vast majority of their own-brand products (that I've used) are very poor quality, including their petrol. I haven't used it for a long time since I realised that I was getting on average 50-60 mile less per tank

well it was over 10 years ago, I noticed when I had to fill up and I thought to myself "I only filled up the other day" so I started resettin my trip odometer each time I filled up so I could see what I was getting. I was shocked at how few I got from Tesco. No noticible difference with Sainsburys and Morrisons though.

if ya want beer , tesco is fine, but they add the money they lose from the beer onto the food prices.

best way is tesco for ya beer
    asda for ya food

    Tins of chopped tomatoes!!
I remember when they used to be 17p a tin, when all Tescos were fields. Now I defy you to get me a tin for less than 31p. The whole lot of them (Supermarkets) have got things sewn up. And when you look at the Spanish Tomato Festival... they must throw millions of quids worth of stuff away.
